future world
The goal of life is to finish
Created the world's first internet cafe. Meet Minho Jung, the founder of Sahara Street LLC, known as the creator of the PC room. I understand that you applied for a patent related to Metaverse 20 years ago. As you know, Metaverse is emerging as the hottest potato these days, and I am curious about the patent background. In fact, in 20 years, it was known as AR and VR.

Automation and AI White Paper - Future World of Work
Finance groups can automate invoice processing, using AI-based models to "read" invoices and extract relevant data for input into downstream processing applications. They can also automate customer acquisition processes such as onboarding as well as day-to-day processes such as procure to pay, order to cash, record to report, and risk management. It costs health insurance companies about $28 to manually process a claim but only $3 to auto adjudicate a claim. Human resources groups can automate processes such as payroll and employee onboarding. AI-based tools can also be trained to screen resumes by using NLP, looking for those from candidates with predefined levels of experience, skill sets, and work history, for example.
AI Is Reengineering All Aspects Of Our Human Experience: What Are The Implications?
I had the honour in early December to participate in an Interzone/Politik Video production with AI leaders: Danny Lange, Chief Data Scientist (CDS), Unity 3D, former CDS of Amazon, and Uber, Beena Ammanath, Executive Director of Deloitte's AI Institute Artificial Intelligence, hosted by John Koetsier where we explored a number of questions about how AI is leading to the fundamental reengineering of all aspects of our human experience, how we as a species interact with AI, and the implications of advancing our world without serious reflection on the type of world we want to build for future civilizations. The conversation we had allowed us to share our views, experiences, concerns and hopes for the New Year for a global society to think more deeply about the future world we want to create - together where AI is used for more good than harm. We have come together to fight Covid-19 and AI was a key enabler to bring to market vaccines, in unprecedented clinical trial R&D timeframes, to eradicate this virus, and help us get back to a more interactive global community where we can freely travel, visit our favourite restaurants and shop with more access in our local retailer stores. This is an excellent example of AI being used for good. However, much of AI in large global data sets are full of inequalities, incumbencies and biases of the innovators designing AI which have a direct impact on how the technology guides human information, perception and action.
Accelerating RPA and adopting automation first mindset
"Our experience to date in the RPA space is that our clients are waking up to the robotic process automation (RPA) wave taking the world by storm. Companies are identifying with the new disruptive technology that assists with the automation of mundane tasks being performed by humans, allowing them to focus on other tasks in their workday that require more cognitive and value-added intervention," says Allen Pascoe, Divisional Head RPA at Datafinity. It's a known fact that the challenges facing organisations, in spite of technological tools available, still include realities like paper-based processes, lack of control, inability to retrieve documents at speed, inefficient processes that lack clear roles and rules, multiple technology solutions that do not necessarily connect to each other, legislative requirements not being met, shortage of resources, financial constraints, unprecedented growth requiring concomitant support and collaboration between multiple resources, etc. In conjunction with the disruptive technologies like cloud, IOT, AI and the like, companies are finding it difficult to remain focused on the best means to find a way to remain relevant, competitive and still add value to the client. Digital transformation is defined as the integration of digital technology into all areas of a business, fundamentally changing how you operate and deliver value to customers. It's also a cultural change that requires organisations to continually challenge the status quo, experiment and get comfortable with failure.

A.I. (2001)
A.I. (2001) is asking a disturbing question about nature. Is creating artificial intelligence playing God? Is artificial intelligence made in man's image and not God's image? Are A.I.'s valid forms of life if not made in God's image? Can God meet their needs like God can meet a human's need? A.I. is more clinical than most of Steven Spielberg's films.

How Do We Interpret the Terrible Future World After James Franco's Misconduct Allegations?
This article originally appeared in Vulture. Nothing is ever as it seems when it comes to James Franco. The man makes a lot of baffling "artistic" choices, any of which could conceivably be explained away as one of the performance-art pranks he so enjoys pulling on the public, and in a greater sense, on himself. Is he penning a column of film criticism, or engaging in an Adaptation-style interrogation of a self divorced from the self? Is he challenging the pillars of historical thought, or just putting goo on stuff?

Responsible Design for AI and VR IoT For All
"Technologists are not noted for learning from the errors of the past. They look forward, not behind, so they repeat the same problems over and over again." Be honest, doesn't the idea of combining virtual reality and artificial intelligence concern you a little? At work we continue to push progress, but at home we go on media fasts because our screens already make us feel less human. Aren't we immersed enough already?

Incorporated Built an Incredible World. Then Syfy Nuked It
A future world ruled by evil corporations isn't exactly a new concept, but the Syfy show Incorporated brings something fresh to the idea. Science fiction editor John Joseph Adams says the show's world-building will impress even hardcore science fiction readers. "Most shows don't come anywhere near the world-building sophistication of a science fiction novel, but this one really does," Adams says in Episode 247 of the Geek's Guide to the Galaxy podcast. "It's almost surprising to me that it's not based on a novel." Fantasy author Erin Lindsey, who spent over a decade as a humanitarian aid worker, says that some of that sophistication may be the work of Matt Damon, who's a producer on Incorporated.
LOVE LETTER TO A FUTURE WORLD
LOVE LETTER TO A FUTURE WORLD By Thomas Calandra Even without an AI or transhumanist revolution, religion is a dying giant, both in America, and in West civilization in general. The rise of "the nones" when it comes to religious affiliation grows every year with millennials, and will hit double time with post-millennials. Religion will die with modern Theocrat's grandchildren. No AI needed for that oncoming quietus to unfold. All that is needed are books, teachers and women who are free to speak their minds and share its cognizant beauty in the Cosmopolis.
